The Gidley Living Schoolyard opened in 2026. The project redesigned 4.5 acres of campus and serves about 450 students. Crews removed heat-absorbing asphalt and planted 79 new trees. The schoolyard now has five outdoor classrooms with native gardens and stormwater features, shaded seating for families, and a tree-lined walking loop around half of the play field.
