The Shirpser Living Schoolyard project will improve 3.37 acres of campus and engage about 500 students. Plans include planting 62 new trees, adding shaded seating to the parent waiting area, and creating five outdoor classrooms with native plants and stormwater gardens. The kinder-yard will gain nature play features and trees, the main play yard will get new plantings, and a tree-lined loop path will circle the play field.
